Kaspersky takes cybersecurity awareness sessions across educational institutes

Kaspersky lab, a multinational cyber security firm apart from delivering security attributes via software, is recently reported to spread awareness of cyber security across various educational institutes. With its partnership with Active Education, the security software company is bribing cyber security education in the regions of southern Africa by taking sessions of interactive activation.

The sole purpose to run this awareness drive around online safety is to make students and their parents understand how unsafe internet can be and what measures they may need to take against becoming a victim of cyber crime. The program named as ‘the Safe Kids Roadshow’ started on 10 September and is covering most of the schools.

The agenda covers to address children and their parents about cyber bullying, unwarranted disclosure of personal information and common rules of online activities.
